As
part of the station’s ongoing fundraising activities Ballyhoura Community Radio has secured permits for flag days in Charleville and Kilmallock. The flag days will be held in Charleville on Friday and Saturday, October 28 and 29th while we will hold one in Kilmallock on Saturday, October 29th.
Fundraising is vital to the future of the station and our broadcasting licence commits us to covering 50% of our costs from this source. It is part of your commitment as a volunteer with the station to assist with fundraising and our flag days need a high level of support from our volunteers to make them a success.
I trust that you will pledge some time to assist with our flag days over the October 28/29th weekend. Because the flag days for both locations are on the same weekend and will therefore require a lot of manpower, we hope that volunteers will be able to dedicate two hours to the event.
Please confirm as soon as possible to Laura or myself (Laura@bcradio.ie or harroldjohn@eircom.net) or text 085-23 236 900 the time/times you will be available to help out with this event.
Thanking you for your loyalty and dedication to the station and thanking you in advance for your co-operation with this event.
John Harrold, Chairman.
